You need to check your IMAP/POP3 settings to see whether anything is misconfigured in it. You can check this by verifying the following details.

1.) For IMAP,

  • Set Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server to gmail.com and select SSL.
  • Set Port to 993
  • Set Yes for Requires SSL option

2.) For POP,

  • Set Incoming Mail (POP3) Server to pop.gmail.com
  • Set Yes for Use SSL
  • Set Port to 995

3.) For SMTP

  • Set Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server togmail.com
  • Set Use Authentication to Yes
  • Set Port for TLS/STARTTLS to 587
  • Set Port for SSL to 465
  • Set Server timeouts to 5
  • Enter your name in Full Name or Display Name
  • Enter your complete email address in Account Name or User Name
  • Enter your password in Password column

4.) Save your settings and try to send a test email.
